I am a 40 year old looking to relocate my family south to escape city life.
I was raised on a grain farm in Western MN, and grew up helping the neighbor with his 50 head dairy operation, and assisting another neighbor with their 400 head hog operation. I left for an education, toured the world, moved to the largest city in the area, and ended up opening a brewery. Through tough times, I ended up getting out of the business and my wife is in the process of getting out of hers. We are entrepreneurs and done with city life. We would like to move south and start fresh. My dream operation would have enough pasture land for a few dairy cows, alpine goats, and free range chickens. I’d ideally start a micro creamery on premises, so any natural caves that can be converted for aging is a bonus! Room for a greenhouse is also a plus.
My family of 4 is not afraid of hard work, and I want to instill small town values along with a connection to the land in my two 14 year old.
I look forward to any opportunity, even if just to connect! Thank you!
