More info: I am a Disabled veteran who is medically retired. Looking for land to start a small cattle farm/ranch. I have done several internships in Wyoming, Montana and in North Carolina. I have experience working, managing herds of 100 up to 5500. I am currently attending Meredith Manor Equestrian college in West Virginia where I am obtaining my certifications in becoming a horse trainer.

Equipment & infrastructure:

Barn, Fencing, Well / Pond / Other water source, Livestock facilities, Farm equipment. More info: I currently do not have any equipment, but once I get land I will be getting equipment or am willing to rent/lease this as well.

Current production on farm:

Cattle (Dairy/Beef), Hay or pasture. More info: I am interested in backgrounding cattle keeping them for 2-4 months then selling to feedlots as pre conditioned cattle.

Farm business training. More info: Current member of the Semper Fi fund apprenticeship Program where I have start up funding. I also have been AI certified through the Graham Cattleman School out of Garnett, Ks. I have attended the EBV business school at Florida State University.

Production goals:

Cattle (Dairy/Beef), Hay or pasture. More info: Produce high quality background hormone free cattle that are healthy purchase them around 300-400 weight and keep them 3-5 months put weight on them then sell them to feed lot.
