Hello!
My name is Nathan Fields and I am a small business owner of Plant for a Change, a network of native seed growers. We guide growers to cultivate flourishing communities of plants, people, and pollinators.
I’m interested in partnering with a farm land owner who would be willing to provide space to house about 10 sheep and goats. My interest in ruminants is in having them be a valuable part of managing land in a more sustainable way.
I am also eager to find acres that would be able to be land that can have native plants planted for seed production. I’d like to be able to plant and maintain about 100 blueberry bushes. I’d also like to be able to keep chickens.
As far as a business partnership, I’d like to see if there’s a chance for reciprocity in providing a reasonable percentage of profits to the land owner. I live in Nashville, near the farmers market. I’d be grateful for any consideration to partner with a landowner interested in biodiversity preservation and in sustainably and responsibly stewarding the land.
I am a follower of Jesus and my land ethic is rooted in my firm conviction and belief to steward the land responsibly and with love. All my other work is rooted on this foundation.
