Lease with Option to Buy, Internship / Mentorship, Incubator / Mentored Lease, Employment with Transfer. More info: My Fiance graduating college in the next couple of years with degrees in education. We are a young family in our early 20s and have a passion for agriculture. I work at the Charleston Tea Plantation in Charleston, SC and also volunteer on a regular basis on a pastured dairy and beef farm, as well as a goat dairy and cheesemaking facilitity. My fiance is fantastic with cows, and has helped over a dozen get on a bottle for the first time, and has hands on experience with calving on pasture. Our goal is to move to the central/eastern Tennessee and use find a farm family looking to help pass their farm down to the next generation. We plan to teach public school until the farm can support us.

Equipment & infrastructure:

Barn, Fencing, Well / Pond / Other water source, Livestock facilities, Farmer housing, Farm equipment, Irrigation equipment, Cold storage (cooler/freezer). More info: Not everything has to be present on the farm, but as first generation farmers we would like basic equipment available to start a simple pastured beef, pork, chicken, or turkey operation.

Cattle (Dairy/Beef), Christmas trees, Field crops, Hay or pasture, Hogs, Poultry (Broiler/Layer), Sheep/Goat (Dairy/Meat), Vegetable production. More info: Our true passion is definitely livestock. We are fans of the rotational grazing model and would like to find a farm currently suited for rotational grazing for cows, goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks or anything else.
