Personal experience and production goals summary:

My husband is a child and adolescent psychiatrist and I am a licensed therapist; we share a vision of regenerative and sustainable homesteading while having horses and other farm animals on the property to work with our clients in a therapeutic manner. I studied Animal Sciences and Biology at Virginia Tech where I learned the basics of animal husbandry before I shifted focus to study counseling. I have ridden and handled horses since the age of 12yrs and I grew up spending time on my grandmother's farms with chickens, ducks, and goats. My husband and I have dreams of building sustainable housing to support our homestead vision for our growing family far beyond our lifetimes. We plan to pass this special piece of farmland down to the next generation.
